After a promising first season in Formula 1, everyone is expecting G. Zhou to deliver something in his second year. During qualifying for the Bahrain GP, the first meeting of the season, Zhou was right behind his experienced team-mate Valtteri Bottas. Unfortunately, during the race, he didn't feel comfortable and soon found himself at the back of the pack. On the penultimate lap, he went back to the pits to put on new tyres. This enabled him to set the fastest lap time. However, Zhou didn't get the bonus point for best lap time because he was out of the top10! A record for the history books, which nevertheless shows the potential of the Chinese driver.
