Lando Norris is the young British prodigy. Some consider him to be the new Lewis Hamilton. Since 2019 and his debut in Formula 1, he drives for McLaren. In 2023, he will be the British team's No. 1 driver. Unsurprisingly, he is aiming for more podiums and, why not, victory. At the 2023 British Grand Prix, he came close to taking pole position. On Sunday 9 July 2023, he started on the front row alongside Max Verstappen. After greenlights, Lando made a perfect start and took the lead! All hopes were high. But on the fourth lap, Max Verstappen retook the lead and never lost it again until the chequered flag. For Norris, it was a magnificent race and his first podium of the season. At home, the emotion was at its best and he was elected "driver of the day" by the fans.
